Valve sent out four new screenshots of
Half-Life 2: Episode 1, the newly renamed version of the upcoming Half-Life 2: Aftermath expansion pack.

In related news, PC ZONE UK have snagged an exclusive look at Episode 1. WARNING: SOME PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED A DESIRE TO BE WARNED THAT THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!

Wow, cool, rehashed HL2 maps.. same creatures, same guns.. oh wait, same models and the chick too!! and STILL wearing the same clothes.. cool. NOT. Where's that great HDR too!!?? Must be tough grabbing props and buildings from old maps and distributing them to these so called new maps eh..(oh yeah, they are under pressure to get this expansion and the others out fast.. who cares if they cut corners and keep re-using the same things.. shit, it's only 20 bucks right.. what can you expect?)

And a spoiler alert!! Oh no HX, remove this post.. you are going to remove the sense in spending $20 on this!! god...

Yeah man, I feel the pain...

why did they bother showing us that tech demo video of day of defeat with hdr, motion blur, and the other cool effects if they weren't going to use them in the upcoming games?
