An ASUS TUF RTX 4090 owner replaced the factory thermal paste with Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change material and the stock pads with Thermal Grizzly TG Putty Pro.

Under stock clocks in 3DMark Port Royal, the hotspot temperature fell from 103.1°C to 71.3°C. The GPU core cooled to 62.5°C and memory to 66.0°C.
