Anthropic added a new rule to Claude Code on Opus 5.5 that stops the AI from recreating specific existing video games, even if the copy is renamed.

The rule tells Claude to build original games, games in a genre, or projects from a user’s own designs and assets. It does not allow recreations of particular commercial titles....
