Mojang has updated the official system requirements for Minecraft Java Edition for the first time in 17 years. ed RAM is now 16GB, while the minimum rises to 8GB with a discrete GPU or 12GB with integrated graphics. A Vulkan 1.3-compatible GPU is now required as the game transitions away from OpenGL.
