Major memory manufacturers Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix have stated they cannot keep up with surging demand for DRAM and HBM chips, largely driven by AI infrastructure.

Industry reports indicate that even new fabrication plants will do little to ease the shortage in the near term, locking in higher RAM prices
