The Prison Break heist is one of the most memorable co-op jobs in GTA Online because it really makes four players feel like a team rather than just a group of gunmen. You unlock it at Rank 12, need a high-end apartment with a planning room, and it's designed for a four-player setup with a finale that really tests coordination. On paper, the goal is simple: break Maxim Rashkovsky out of Bolingbroke Penitentiary and get him to a drop-off point while dealing with cops, prison guards, and enemy jets. What makes it tricky is that every player has a different role, so the mission only feels smooth if everyone knows what they're doing before the action starts GTA 5 Modded Accounts.

There are four setup missions: Plane, Bus, Station, and Wet Work. In Plane, one player steals the Velum 5-Seater from McKenzie Airfield while the others clear the airstrip and escort the plane. Bus is about hijacking the prison transport, losing the cops, and delivering it near Sandy Shores. Station splits the team in two: one pair grabs a police cruiser and the inmate transfer schedule from Mission Row, the other retrieves Rashkovsky's car from a cargo ship. Wet Work is quieter, with one team taking out Rashkovsky's business rivals and the other collecting deposition documents, and it usually works best if everyone moves carefully instead of rushing.

Before the finale, it helps to assign roles based on skill. The Pilot should be comfortable flying since they'll dodge jets and keep the Velum safe. The Demolition player should be confident with helicopter combat and know how to prioritize targets, as they'll destroy the prison bus and protect the plane. On the ground, the Prison Officer helps keep the pace and keeps the Prisoner alive, since the prison section is where most teams stumble. A good rule of thumb is to put your best communicator in the Pilot or Prison Officer role, and have the ground team focus on moving smartly rather than trying to show off.

The finale starts with the Prison Officer and Prisoner driving the stolen bus into Bolingbroke under disguise. It's important to avoid running, panic shooting, or doing anything suspicious too soon. They need to reach Rashkovsky, fight through guards, and head to the escape route while NOOSE forces push in. Dropping extra weapons for the Prisoner helps a lot, and staying behind cover and moving carefully makes this part much easier.

Meanwhile, the Demolition player steals the scheduled prison bus, takes out the corrections officer, drives it to Sandy Shores Airfield, destroys it, then grabs the Buzzard to protect the Velum from incoming threats. The Pilot needs to get the Velum in the air quickly and avoid chasing jets, making smooth turns while letting the Demolition player deal with pursuers. Keeping the plane moving unpredictably makes it much easier to protect.

Even after Rashkovsky is collected, the team must escape the wanted level and reach the drop-off without anyone dying. For the elite challenge, the goal is to keep Rashkovsky's damage at 1% or less, finish under 4:40, and make sure no one dies. Timing starts when the cutscene of finding Rashkovsky begins and ends when the plane lands, so hesitation or sloppy flying can ruin the run GTA 5 Money On PC Enhanced.

Once the plane lands, the team regroups on the beach, and the Demolition player helps get everyone back to the city in the Buzzard. This part is mostly cleanup, but staying organized still matters. The heist pays well for a four-player job, with the finale listed at $875,000 on Hard before bonuses. The Prison Break is popular not because it's easy, but because it's classic GTA Online co-op: everyone has a role, timing matters, and the escape feels earned when it all comes together.
