X-Bit Labs take an in-depth look at ATI RADEON X1800 XT CrossFire Edition:

It's only in one game, in the 3D shooter Project: Snowblind, that the ering mode brought about a negative performance gain, and not only with CrossFire but also with SLI. It means that the problem must be in the game rather than

There is no doubt, next card is nVidia. ATI just doesn't stack up against nVidia. Except for a fluke when they were just beating nVidia. I never ever ever ever needed support for my nVidia cards. With ATI I am on various ATI forums because there is always a problem here or there. As well, ATI support like at Rage3D is just ridiculous. It's always 'You are an idiot" first. Rage3D forums are a really sad, they have ATI reps and these guys are so well treated you can't even get angry. I've on the Rage3D forums now (by request of a friend) and I've never seen so many people banned for having opinions. If it's not PRO ATI then you don't belong on the Rage3D forums. It's unfortaunte because there are some nice people they are obscurred by serious biased moderators and other site staff. This one guy, I think he worked for EA trying to claim that EA is not in bed with nVidia and say TWIMTBP is over between EA and nVidia yet nVidia just updated the list shortly to show EA is still a partner as it has been. Trying to deny EA is still making games with nVidia in favor.. Like I sent the guy so much proof and he sits there denying it. I think the poorest excuse I have heard from an ATI person is the TWIMTBP is nothing but marketing. Now to just anyone they might walk away believing that, being that I am close with some development teams producing games, that is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. LOTS of games are still made with nVidia in mind so don't be deceived on these forums. Anyhow just sad. Project Snowblind, another nVidia game. Project Snowblind has quite a few problems but on Radeon there are various reports of rebooting, another thing ATI claims to NOT be their problem yet the dev team for Snowblind says "ATI" must fix their problem. I didn't know that lying is/was such a great business move. Or better yet, denial. Guess that looks better in front of customers.

Rage3D = ATi Rage~. Ring a bell? If you seek support and help with your card, why dont you mail, support ticket or call ATi support, have you tried that? Dont know what you have written, so i won't comment on that and your specific problem/s.

TWIMTBP = http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_twimtbp_gameslist.html
Read. Optimization and Compability are made. Compability as in SLI function and other.
