ed up in the Guiness Book of Records and was the foundation for an entirely new company - CL 9. The thing is... no one else really had that same problem... yet.

Ok, aside from the painful way to program that thing, it really was ahead of its time by almost 20 years. Macros and multiple operations from one button press is still not common, although that's mostly I suppose because remotes are a niche. But these days, you have the likes of the Unfolded Circle Remote 3, and Sofabaton just released an advanced model (that's unfortunately super cloud dependent which sucks). But remotes that cost hundreds and can do advanced stuff is till niche - but great for those who use them. CEC sucks. I have it turned off on my devices.
