Who’s ever been bothered about ‘photo realistic’ graphics, when tearing around in GTA# at 100+ mph or shooting a dozen cars, filled with umpteen baddies trying to shoot your ass off!
Gameplay is 100% more important than 4K graphics Gen alphabet again… yawn. Shallow minded devs and game players
Cyberpunk 2077 catches my eye more than GTA has ever done, because the skyline is full of moving signage/displays, flying cars, the cyborgs are incredible in the many different versions on the streets. Pure Blade Runner-esque -Catches that theme perfectly. It just looks amazing in rain
Johnny (Keanu reeves) is brilliant, superb dialogue acting. Unbelievable the amount of times he’s with you talking in the game and the amount of missions. The skill/weapon tree is crazy. I’m 70hrs in it and still playing the base game and missions
Then we talk about the optimisation. It’s easily the smoothest game I have at max detail 1440. Regardless of the traffic and speed/rain
GTA4 was and still is my fave. GTA5 was far too short and milked the tits off MP. They provided NOTHING for the campaign.
6 will not be a purchase for me. The quality of games post covid is dire. Only a few have hit the mark.
Uncharted 4: funny as fuck, brilliant level design and one-liners. Brilliantly optimised.
The Last Of Us: is timeless. Played and own it on PS3 since release but it’s a ‘broke the mold’ game. Haven’t seen the 2nd one yet.
The future quality of games is something to be desired and the bloody cost!
I can just imagine the bull-hype when GTA6 is released. At least £70 on console basic version going up to £99 with exclusive gun pack and helicopter….blah. Usual bait |
