4x4 EVO 2

4x4 EVO 2 is an arcade-style off-road simulation game developed for the PC and the Xbox video game console from Microsoft. Unfortunately the game is almost the same like the original 4x4 Evolution from
the last year :( First time I thought it's the original game - pretty sad. 4x4 EVO 2 only
includes a new vehicles from ten different manufacturers (over 120 of the most rugged
off-road vehicles), an unexpected mission structure, a new "boring"
single-player mode called Free Roam and quite better graphics. What I didn't like? The
cars has no visible damage from collisions, horribly implemented physics engine really
sucks(for example you can drive under water and no problem), stupid AI of opponents, the
career mode offers plenty of goodies to purchase but almost no difference as you launch
over hills and rocks, some tracks are the same like year ago etc. 4x4 EVO is maybe a bit
better than its predecessor, but still pretty far away from real racing game. If you want

gfx: 3/5 -
mediocre though looks better than 4x4 EVO, no visible damage from collisions, still horrible physics, very unrealistic crashes
playability: 3/5 -
too much similar to 4x4 EVO, force feedback, easy controls, improved career mode, gamespy-enabled multiplayer, unrealistic - game's physics are frustrating
