Kohan: Immortal Sovereign takes a novel approach blending tactical, squad-level combat gaming styles into the mold of the standard real-time strategy game. The story behind Kohan is that an old race, known as the Kohan, was mysteriously wiped out but reborn in a future time. You take on the role of a recently awakened immortal hero who survived an ancient Cataclysm that plummeted the land of Khaldun into darkness. You must command companies, regiments, and armies to revive the lost immortal heros and save the mortals who now inhabit this land from the clutches of the Shadow. The game features strong focus on strategy elements, functional economic system, powerful unit organization system, mild integration of Persian mythology, over 400 frames of animation per unit, component system in villages for upgrades, multiplayer support for up to eight players, unique zone system expounds on traditional range effects and hi-res visuals including powerful spell effects. Kohan: Immortal Sovereign includes four different sides - the Council, the Nationalists, the Ceyah, or the Royalists, plenty of monsters such an evil Ceyah's undead-themed army of skeletons, zombies, flying implike creatures etc, in addition there are many creatures that can be researched. These hungry creatures drain resources : wood, iron, stone and mana. To make game more playable also building buildings has been simplified. Construction is limited to a single town building as the primary construction. Well, at first glance the game seems simplistic, but once you get into the intricacies of building your armies, you will see just how detailed and varied the game truly is.
