With F1 Manager 2000 you can take on the likes of Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Mika Hakkinen or David Coulthard. You'll be able to direct your team strategy from the virtual pit stop while viewing the real-time 3D race. F1 Manager 2000 includes a full race season for each year that you manage your team. This includes the 2 test days prior to the start of the main racing season. The test events cost money to enter and the financial aspects of the game are played out through sponsorships and prize moneys at the races.You start off by choosing the team that you will lead to the championship. You can choose from 11 teams - all drivers/teams are from 1999 season. The team you choose comes with a chief designer, technical director, commercial manager, #1 and #2 drivers, and sure also with a test driver. Certainly these three individuals and drivers cannot manage everything, you must also create a production queue and do research in order to improve the performance of your car (like designing the chassis, front wing, rear wing, and suspension). That sounds maybe a bit difficult, but trust me that everything is very easy because controlling this game is pretty easy to learn - F1 Manager 2000's interface is like in turn-based or real-time strategy games. It's very well done game, I very liked to play and I couldn't stop :) Am sure its the best sports strategy series ever made.
