I always wondered how the hell a studio that created the original dirt, could come up with something like Grid! I hope they use the same engine on Dirt 2! |

They probably will just tweak it, to add a few things. The only thing I don't like about the dirt/grid engine is that no matter how much you crank your graphic settings, it always looks blurry. It just seems impossible to make it look clear. I hope that is addressed in the next release though I don't hold high hopes. Another thing about Dirt was that the handling was ridiculously arcadey. That makes the game a lot of fun to play for sure, but it really reduces the skill level needed to get around the track well, and I think makes winning less rewarding. |
