- Championship Manager 4 Beta Demo - Both

offering a number of gameplay updates to this ultra popular football (soccer)

- Squad Assault Announced -
Matrix Games today announced the development of Eric Young's Squad
Assault, the first of a series of WWII 3D strategy games from Freedom Games
(G.I. Combat makers). In
Squad Assault: West Front, you command troops in both the Allied and
German Armies of the West Front of World War II in an immersive full 3-D
continuous time environment. Squad Assault: West Front features detailed
models for all the major armies that fought in France in 1944, including
American, German, British, Canadian, and Free French.

word that

has shipped to stores in the United States.
- 2002 Interactive Achievement Award Winners - Academy of
Interactive Arts and Sciences
announced the winners of their annual Interactive Achievement Awards which
were revealed in a ceremony at the D.I.C.E. Summit in Las Vegas on Thursday
night.
- Raven Shield demo next week - Ubi Soft announced that they will be
releasing a new Raven
Shield demo next week. The demo will include 16 weapons (M12, Mac11/9,
MP5A4, MP5K PDW, MP5SD5, P90, Uzi, AK-47, M1 shotgun, Dragunov, PSG-1, RPD,
92FS, AP ARMY and USP), all of them can be equipped with weapon gadgets
(Mini-Scope, High Capacity Magazine, Sound Suppressor or Thermal scope),
Single Player featuring the Oil Refinery mission playable in all 4
Custom Mission modes (Practice, Terrorist Hunt, Lone Wolf and Hostage Rescue)
