NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 576.80 WHQL driver adds official support for FBC: Firebreak and REMATCH. It also adds support for the Path Tracing Update of DOOM: The Dark Ages. It’s worth noting that this driver brings a number of game fixes. For instance, it brings stability improvements to Dune: Awakening and EA Sports FC 25. It also fixes some shadow flickers that could occur in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 should also be more stable now with this new driver.

Following the release of the GeForce RTX 5060 and Radeon RX 960 XT models, the availability of entire series of graphics cards from Nvidia and AMD has gradually improved in many regions, although not always at the recommended retail price (MSRP). This overview analyzed the price per frame from 10 different countries, which is the largest number of countries monitored in videos of this type to date. It was interesting to see how the competitiveness of Nvidia and AMD differs on a global scale, so we cannot limit ourselves to prices in the US alone.

Today is Microsoft's June 2025 Patch Tuesday, which includes security updates for 66 flaws, including one actively exploited vulnerability and another that was publicly disclosed.

This Patch Tuesday also fixes ten "Critical" vulnerabilities, eight being remote code execution vulnerabilities and two being elevation of privileges bugs.

The number of bugs in each vulnerability category is listed below:

YouTube has taken down a video from tech creator Jeff Geerling that demonstrated how to use LibreELEC, a lightweight operating system for turning devices into media centers, on a Raspberry Pi 5 for 4K video playback. The video, titled "I replaced my Apple TV—with a Raspberry Pi", originally published in May 2024, was removed in June 2025 under YouTube's "Harmful or dangerous content" policy. According to the violation notice, YouTube claimed the video showed "how to get unauthorized or free access to audio or audiovisual content, software, subscription services, or games that usually require payment." Geerling strongly refuted YouTube's claims. He stated clearly, "I purposefully avoid demonstrating any of the tools that are popularly used to circumvent purchasing movie, TV, and other media content." He also emphasized that his own Network Attached Storage, or NAS, contains only legally acquired content.
