Game Informer has conducted an interesting interview with id's John Carmack and Todd Hollenshead as they talk about Quake Wars, moving on to new technologies, DX10 adoption, upgrading your rig, Vista, and so much more. Here's a bit:

Yes, at times he can take all the BS out of things where there is a lot of BS. This interview is good cuz it reaffirm to me DX10 and cards like 8800 are not needed and most especially for Quake Wars. I laugh at people personally who go out and spend ridiculous money on 8800 cards right now. Total ripoff and for what? Cysis... pfff.
