Happy new year!
How long has NFS:C been out? A month or so? EA is atleast efficient.
And for BSG Online - could possibly be cool as hell - considering the series. However, how many times has porting to a interactive media been made a failure? |

Happy New Year to all at ggmania!
It's midday in Ukraine and I still haven't slept. Have been partying all night. Hope you all spent a real good time too! |

Happy New Year all. I miss the traditional Christmas and New Years
girl pic at GGmania. Oh well, I'm battling aliens in Prey so I don't have
time. Enjoy the festivities. |

Hope everyone had a great, safe new year. I know mine was...Watching the ball drop on my 50" plasma (in 1080i, hehe). Quietly alone, cuddled next to my girlfriend. Quite enjoyable, I must say.
Anyone else do anything as unexciting as me? |

No New Years resolution I could keep too. However I am working on quitting smoking. Filthy expensive habit.
Hope everyone had a good New Years and a good Christmas.. |

Gaming can have the same effect xxxx. >.<
Yeah, I didn't create any new years resolution, but I would like to lose a few pounds (like 10, 15 tops lol), but thats nothing new haha.
Anyway, after today, I am headed to Disney World with my girlfriend for 8 days! I might be around to post, but not really sure, depends how much time I get with my laptop, haha. |

Now that's one thing i do agree with you on!
Quitting will save you a small fortune to say the least. I got my wife to stop when we first met, she lost weight (down to a 26 inch waist) and more importantly got her health back. She can now enjoy hill walking and cycling 30miles easily in one go when we're on hols.
I've never smoked. That was the motivation she needed to break the habit and the fact that she was 'iterally' burning away a fortune in money!
40 a day and she saved nearly £4,000 per year!! Friggin' lot of money
Good luck |

Thanks xxxx, always do!
Yeah, if only my grandparents would kick the habit. It's nearly brought my grandmom to death 3 times now. Each time it got worse and worse.
I'm glad I never smoked, I wouldn't even date someone who smokes. I'm glad to hear your wife stopped after meeting you. |

Thanks djRom.
I've lost count of the amount of friends & family that have smoked 30+ years and are now suffering due to ill health.
They have just done a survey about cancer here, not surprisingly, 50% of smokers think that cancer is due to fate rather than lifestyle...
Even although half of all cancers are preventable due to eating more fruit, excercise, reducing drinking alcohol and above all cutting out smoking.
Seems most people are in denial.
Some of my mates are the same age as me and they have 'aged' bodily due to years of smoking! None of them can walk or cycle as far as me, nor enjoy a simple level of fitness -without puffing away or coughing their lungs up like a broken down boiler! I live top floor in a flat -obviously i have to carry shopping etc daily up and down the stairs, but as soon as they appear they think they are climbing Everest!! ROFL |
