The company has announced that it is closing its doors because of the legal action taken against them by Sony.

It's purely the fact that he's dealing with European countries.
If he had pulled out of delivering to them he would most prob still be in business?

Asside from the fact that Sony AND M$ dealers have strict guidelines to adhere to -as was said. For eg, if the parts that he (Lik) sold (in the above Sony statement) buggered up someones hardware, He or you will send them to Sony for a warranty repair -which of course they carry out. Unbeknown to Sony/M$ that faulty/mismatched power supplies etc caused the damage -IF they did find out, then they would be seriously pissed off AND would close him anyway. Since he would be making money at Sony/M$ expense.
Not only that but in Europe, the laws covering electrical goods are tighter than a crabs arse, and that's WATER TIGHT!!
Maybe he should have backed down? I mean it's not like they just arrived this morning and said 'close down'? These things run for months even years! |

I loved your comical upgrade post. Yeah you got me beat with a defunct processor on a now defunct motherboard that has less bandwidth and doesn't even compare to what I have period. And how about that sensical 7800 purchase, which I am sure you got a steal of a deal on...Here I am with a 7600 having literally no problem with any game so far. I paid what you paid for your processor to upgrade my whole system. Duh. (Yeah, but although I travel to Euro 3-4 times a year, I don't know anything about costs, nor the fact I have lots of Euro friends, yeah you got me on that! lol)
