Problem with all these online services, I get the game cheaper buying it in the box when I go to the store. I don't really like electronic distribution despite having offers from my ISP and various other sources. I just simply prefer the CD. HL2, instead of continually downloading it every windows re-install, I backed it up to cd and then dump it right back where it belongs.. after 10mins of some interesting downloading through Steam all titles are active again... I hate having to backup the whole game, it's stupid and I don't feel like wasting bandwidth downloading the whole damn thing again...The steam backup is a POS and has never once worked for me. Nothing was more painful that first time trusting Steam backup when I went to put it all back on and it said, backup is corrupted. From that day, I hated and never used their backup system..

Here in Belgium digital distribution is almost unusable, because most ISPs have monthly transfert limits, some of those having not moved for the last 5 years

for example, i only have 10Gb/month, up&download included... if i download a game, around 4G, i have 6Gb left... it's like 200Mb per day, ridiculous in our broadband era

so in those conditions, i will never buy something on Steam or whatever else

I'm fighting for more, but the chances of it increasing are like winning a lottery.
