Now you can clearly see in those grandiose, first-class, painstaking and matchless screenshots WHY you absolutely need Microsoft Windows Vista to run this 2 years old high-brow first person shooter.
Hail to its 1920x1200 hi-res glory! |

Clearly the Xbox (1) was far more advanced than any computer that is out today or in the next year... Even the X360 and PS3 can't compare to what was...Xbox (1).
Pfft...Dual core computers. I laugh at you!
And don't even get me started about quad core computers. They will have trouble even imagining the graphics this game can produce. Even with your puny quad video card configs!

Those graphics are terrible! Halo2 is a joke on the Xbox(1) as it is. It took a month of sundays to load and render scenes, when it did, you could visualy see the textures being applied!! Plus it was kicking the arse out of the Xbox specs.
ROM i do hope you are being sarcastic? The PC well and truly eats XBox# for breakfast without even breaking into a L2 cache
Besides who do you think has been playing HD graphics for the past decade or so? Yep the PC owner -what do you think a 21" monitor is and why we can hook up the PC to HD ready TVs or Projectors.
The consoles will never compete with the PC because of a few simple problems that they will inherently have; Inability to install games on their HDs =massive long load times and render/draw distance limitations.
Level editors are (when they exist) pathetic compaired to the full blow affairs that we get on the PC.
Lack of keyboard and mouse to play games like Far Cry/Doom for eg make the consoles almost comicaly disabled to use! All the cross hairs you get within console games are HUGE to compensate for the inabilty to fine-aim because of the clunky joy stick controls.
Plus many,many more.
Oh and yes i own an XBox and PS2, but my main games machine is my PC.
Oh and the XBox360 *will not* be able to handle DirectX 10 games LOL |

Of course I was being sarcastic! hehe
And less we forget what is Deus Ex 2...With smaller maps because the Xbox didn't have enough memory to store bigger maps. Or controls for lean keys.
Expensive? Yes.
Worth-it? You tell me if you like a GOOD immersive game, and you have your answer. |

Phew, thank goodness for that! Someone who know's what they are talking about for a change
I'm that used to silly.. let's call it 'attempted dialogue' for want of a better word, with the 'me first' crowd.
How about Medieval Total War 2, Operation Flashpoint 2 being in my 'most wanted' list along with Company of Heroes |

Well, thank you! I like to credit myself with knowing a little something about the video game industry since I've been knee deep in it since around 91-92. (I am only 19..You do the math haha!)
Flashpoint 2 and Company of Heroes are definitely up there, I can't wait! ^-^
BTW, if anyone is interested, I picked up FlatOut 2 last night, and its very good. (I know its off-topic, but I figured since we are on the topic of off-topic, I'd throw that in there.)
Also, yes, this crap with the "me first" picked up steam once Xbox came out. Before then, it wasn't as much of a big deal, if I remember correctly.
So, just like everything else...Blame Microsoft! lol |

One thing I don't understand: is it (if yes, then how come?) more cost-effective to port a good game only two years after its initial release? Does this "smart" move result in a larger revenue?
They do know how to make people real pissed (sorry, I liked halo1). |

| If they expect people to buy an xbox instead why port it anyway and suffer additional expenses? |
