In previous Hitmans you could save your game and come back to it, however now it's limited and when you exit, you lose your save games. It only keeps track by mission. So when you come back to play you must start that particular mission from the start. Irritating, but it's still fun because each time your improve your methods. Most of my kills are stealth+wire.
