Electronic Arts has released

a new movie trailer (36.3MB) for
Half-Life 2: Episode One, showing off the futuristic first-person shooter expansion under construction at Valve Software. This clip clocks in at just over half a minute of new, action-packed in-game footage. Another mirrors:

Video starts off exactly like the teaser one a while ago... atleast this had some more stuff in it. I don't know... I was pretty impressed with the atmosphere they created. Even if it's rehashed buildings and everything, it all seems to be going to hell so maybe you won't notice it so bad with all the action.

They've got my $20

Yeah it looks pretty re-hashed to me. I rather spend my $20 on Sin myself.. Being that I'm very involved with Oblivion now that it works great on my new card, I'm gettinq quite hooked. If I'm not playing Oblivion I'm working on HL2 DM maps..With Sin, I'm quite impressed actually with the work they have put into it, I don't know if I'll get hooked to it but it does appear to be fun from everything I've heard and seen.

The trailer was very atmospheric and even a bit moody, I like that, the change I guess is for the good. Even though I realize the engine is quite dated now, the graphics somehow manage to look pretty.
