This news is extremely depressing.

It seems vaige when they say the IP behind farcry and the engine used in farcry.... Isn't the engine in Crysis a different engine? Does that mean Ubi is buying the old crap?

I was prepared to buy a new system for when crysis came out (amonst other titles)... Might have to find other inspiration now.

I will not, repeat not, buy that game if it has starforce.

by the way, I see no reason to laugh... the industry is being flushed down the toilette.

Yeah i've changed my tune too. Why oh why wont they just accept that SF is murdering game sales worldwide. Use **ANY* other CP and i'm happy.

Crysis and SF is the equivalent of having $£100,000,000 behind an invisible wall of lasers -you can look, but the damage you will experience if you breach that wall is not worth the hassle...

I agree that the punter is being harmed -be it the legitimate *PAYING* punter at that! How sad........ Crying or Very sad

maybe i didn't make myself clear enough lmer.. if it's got SF, f that. NOT INTERESTED. LOTS of gamers couldn't care less if they were given a bicycle with the game, nobody cares for SF. And I wont buy a game just because someone cracked SF, cracking SF doesn't change my attitude. If the game installs SF on my system it's just not likely I will buy it. If Duke Nukem comes with SF, wont buy that either. I don't care but the only way to stress that SF is not wanted by gamers is not to buy the game no matter how good it is. SF bastards can thank themselves with that 'the gamer is stupid so here's our contest to prove it". Don't attack gamers especially when you are installing system level drivers and some having the highest priority on our systems.. Big no no.

Although a part of my laughed at their contest another part said, 'you cocky sobs, fu i wont buy a game with your protection mode on it'. And I still haven't. From what I understand a lot of gamers are doing the same thing.
