Right after the recent findings that
Starforce will reboot your computer when it find "suspicious" activity, it has now been found
it also travels across networks - to be more exact, they describe a disturbing worm-like behavior from StarForce drivers using "multidropper type tech

hrmm, spent too much time playing Elder Scrolls lately I've almost lost track of the news
My only hope is that this issue with StarForce will get as much bad press as possible, in the same way Sony got destroyed for their rootkit disaster. |

This is such a load of B.S.
Theres a group of people with a personal vendetta against StarForce, and they keep throwing this crap at them with hopes that they can catch them with their pants down and point it out to everyone.
Seriously though, put this in perspective. This guy claims what he says about StaForce has credibility because he is "a reputable tech Engineer/Developer with over 25 years in the business under [his] belt." If this were really the case, he wouldn't have to state this, but just provide the evidence that proves his point. Truth is, this guy doesn't know anything and he's just trying to create publicity over his flames. |

If you read some of the posts by the Starforce engineers i can see why he needs to state something in such a way. So far the people behind starforce look like a bunch of excellent Russian hackers of all ages that know much about hacking and care little about how it affects the people that are forced to use it. Smells like money.
There are people that bash it just because they can't have free games so often anymore, sure. But if an editor in chief of Toms Hardware and Russinovich which is a Microsoft MVP who outputs brilliant renown software for years call in for boycot of things like starforce then it must be something more than a bunch of people with this some kind of personal vendetta you're talking about.
But i couldn't care less about it, for now. I'm not getting a single thing protected by that kind of bloated, agressive and slow piece of code ever again. Even if it's a really awseome game, somehow i'll manage wthout playing it . |

| Anything negative vs Starfoce I am all for. The more negative publicity it can get the greater the chance a publisher wont be stupid enough to go with it. |
