A viral post says you cannot disassemble RollerCoaster Tycoon because Chris Sawyer wrote it in raw assembly. That mixes up two jobs.

Excuse me but I smell bullshit.
Code written in assembly uses jumps, conditions, functions, procedures, etc. same as any other programming language and as such, it is reversible into higher level languages.
What I can agree to is that there is no straightforward decompilation available. One needs to understand the code and write it up function by function in C++.
I can also agree the code compiled from C++ won't be as efficient as the ASM code and therefore, it will look very different (probably bloated) in comparison to the ASM code.
