Microsoft's 8 September 2026 Patch Tuesday ships KB5124008 / KB5122880
with a record 966 security fixes — including two actively exploited
zero-days.

Those zero-days are CVE-2026-81963 (Windows Update Stack, local SYSTEM)
and CVE-2026-85880 (ALPC heap overflow, local SYSTEM).

The same update finally restores a movable taskbar - top, left, right, or bottom
This is a good change, they never should have taken this away.
They should also reinstate quick launch menus to the taskbar.
