A Bilibili repair video shows a Ryzen 7 7800X3D that swelled and burned on an ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero.

The chip’s underside is discolored and the socket pins in the middle are bent.

TechPowerUp says the board’s BIOS version was not confirmed, which matters because AMD’s 2023 fix was an AGESA cap on SoC ...
