Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Playground Games have delayed Fable from its previously planned fall 2026 release window to February 2027. Fablewill be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, as well as via Game Pass.

WHEN will they learn.
DONT EVER announce a date for a games release UNTIL its finalised. WAIT TILL AT LEAST the beta version, then testing, so just before GOLD is when it should be announced.
AND, delaying the switch 1/2 version is really stupid. MANY with multiple consoles will get it on their main console and play it there so when it finally comes out on switch 1/2 its already finished and they have moved on.
Only the dyhard fans will still be playing it and 99.9995 of them wont be playing it on switch 1/2 as EVERYTHING is better on the better console.

So wihtout a same day release the switch version is doomed to fail. and as the dwitch is a low powered last gen console its nowhere near as good as current gen.
So the game does get delayed as they have to dumb it down for it.
Like get the PC verison, put it to low graphics then force it to stay there then shrink it in size, remove many grphical features and drop quality so it'll fit intot he switches small size then finally optomise it then release it. So yea it'll get a delay in that. Then devs realise its just stupid and cance it just like Borderlands 4.

So call of duty MW4 on switch. I really doubt it. That much graphics as the speeds it needs its going to be a blurry mess.

BUT back to original story, DONT announce a release date at the start as what pisses off gamers bigtime, a delay.
So no release date, they wont get pissed off, they can internally delay it as much as they want, weekly., monthly, whatever. as long as we dont know we dont care.
WHEN it gets closer to the end and a final date is pretty much known then announce a planned date. Give it an extra month for polish then release it.

The gaming industry NEEDS to learn this. Its just common sense but these days its not common, nobody has it anymore.

Hasnt Fable been delayed twice already? and here is another one.
Well, Im not interested anymore. Even if this is the first delay I dont care, shouldnt have given it a date you couldnt stick too.

ANOTHER thing, we dont tolerate purchasing beta software. We want FINAL.
Look at cyberpunk 2077, that was released in PRE ALPHA format. It took 6 months to get to alpha and over a year to get into a beta quality.
2 to 3 years later its in its final stage.
See the problem there. They released it unfinished as they wanted to stick to the date however unrealistic it was.
They need to stop that. WatchDogs was kinda the same. pre-video to release were different. Same as that Aliens game, it was so bad they had to take it off the stores. I think it never came back or did it? It was removed at the start, a month in I think?

The gaming industry has no idea what its doing. $ony and bungie is proof of this.
They all want a destiny 3 and $ony takes the desting 2 money and makes marathon which nobody wants or cares for.
EVERYONE is still saying make a destiny 3 and $ony are taking every cent from Destony 2 and flooding it into marathon, a dead game nobody wants.
So when marathon fails which it WILL, they will be there holding their nipples as they have no d1cks to hold and wondering how did it go so wrong.
Well, you never listened to your customers and their demands. THEY are where you make your money and if you dont listen to them they wont make you any money anymore.
So $ony is stupid. Upping the price of the PS5, killing games off, putting momey into dead games or ending them before they start, never listening and as the price of PS5 went up they now refuse to release anything on PC.
So where are they getting their money from now?

It would've been PC released and Destingy 3 but there is neither.
Their overpriced crap hardware isnt a good source of income.
I had a PS Portal and that was the worst bit of hardware ever and its way overpriced. Its like a hardware version of a free phone app, thats exactly what it is and its a failure in all ways.
When i was at the stop returning it they wanted proof so I showed them. THERE, in the shop my phone connected, remote play quickly no problems. The portal never connected, through the same network my phone is on.
SO major fail.
It had an update in the store and that killed it so the store had no choice but to refund me, it saw the faults and couldnt deny it. they watched it die.
AND its way overpriced for what it is. JUST a screen for remote play to PS5.
It cant remote play to PS4 which the free phone app can do.
It cant i anything right. It was a joke at the start, and a failure at the end.
And the price. wow, so stupid. It was on sale for $325AUD. WOW! LOL.
A controller here is $110AUD and that works in ALL accounts on the PS5. The portal ONLY works on 1 account on the PS5. THATS IT.

The more you look into it the worse it gets. It does NOTHING but remote play the PS5 on that 1 account in your house as being at the store proved that. The phone can quickly remote play but the portal couldnt.
I did try it outside once and it never connected so thats just a failure.

So, thats me for this month.

release dates should never be released until they cant be changed.

Now, off to play some game on some console or handheld or whatever. There will be a game and a controller involved even it its attached to a screen.
