A tech reviewer replaced his 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X with an 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X3D and saw much bigger improvements than expected in high-refresh-rate gaming.
The extra 96MB of 3D V-Cache helped eliminate CPU bottlenecks, especially in competitive games like Valorant, Fortnite, and CS2 at 1440p 360Hz.

wait till he learns that faster ram also affects games that already have high fps already. He'll need much much more money for that upgrade On the other hand, I could care less if fps is 70 or 200... |
