Google Chrome has been quietly downloading a 4GB Gemini Nano AI model to users' PCs without asking, using up storage and bandwidth. Many people only noticed the large hidden file after it appeared on their drives.

A simple Windows 11 registry edit now blocks the download and removes the model by setting รข??GenAILoca
