| If I finally manage to get my name off the Interpol list, am I totally free? Will the police in my home country still be looking for me? Can I travel safely to all countries or are some still dangerous? I am worried the data might still be in some local databases. |

| Getting the notice removed is a huge win, but you still have to be careful. While Interpol will delete the data, some countries might have already saved a copy in their local systems. I would check the advice at https://extraditionlawyers.net/ about post-removal travel. You should carry the official "deletion letter" from the CCF with you whenever you travel. Also, the original warrant in your home country might still exist, so do not go back there! But for most of the world, a removal means you can breathe again and cross borders without being detained. It is like getting your life back. Just make sure the "Diffusion" notices were also cancelled, as those are sometimes separate. |
