They need to start publishing and selling their shit on Steam at compressed prices for the masses without the stupid UBI launcher and UBI shop dependencies.
That will give them more sales. |

In case you’ve forgotten.
Steam owns fuck all, takes 30% of every game sold on steam from the developers/publishers. *That’s* why games are expensive-along with wage increase's and lack of sales.
UBI,Rockstar et al *own* their games (IPs) , not fat fuck Gabe. If we kept physical copies and screwed steam over, we wouldn’t be in this shit hole!
Btw here’s some news to make you weep -or not the case may be.
We have generations grown up thinking Steam is their friend and it’s not DRM and they are so fucking thick they think they own the games they buy.
I don’t know how old you are, but when HL2 came out we returned the game in droves to the shops (opened and installed) it was on the news as well. Why? Because it was the first software released with Steam mandatory install to *play a game - HL2.
Then the rot set in and generations of Americans and ultimately children of Europe thought it normal to no longer buy games physically.

I give fuck-all about Gabe or his ships. The guy is a fucking idiot.
But guess what. He was in the right place at the right time.
He owns that company, he made hisself a nice boat.
Same as Elon - he's even worse because he does go public with his stupid statements.
If your were in his place, I'm sure you'd do the same - I know I would buy something totally useless just to show I have the money, too.
Build a data center for myself so I can run Doom in bazillion*megazillion resolution.
That's the point of money.
And, money seems to bring out the worst in man.
Well, at least in some parts of the world - I have not heard about billionaires doing such shit in Europe; maybe they are smarter about it.
Anyway, Gabe making a ship is like Elon making hisself a spaceship; a man needs a hobby.
The industry - well, the entire world - went tits up, all prices are out of proportion and Trump does fuck-all to put Putin back in his place.
He's setting hisself, his family and his corporate buddies up for the next 50 years.
It appears he does not care about people, not even in his own country.
It surprises me the regular american can't see that. How can they support a leader like this???
Seems to me he's hell bent on single-handedly destroying what people (in the world) have built over the past 50 years - and he expects a peace price for it? lol
Anyhow, the rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer everywhere - the recipe for World War III.
If you think I'd buy anything on Steam at full price, you are mistaken.
A stupid video game and DLCs are not worth that much money.
I'd never buy anything below 75% discount and I always buy the full pack then.
I could not buy games lately on Steam because they only put the base game on sale - so I just wait.
I am in no hurry to spend my money.
If they don't need it now, that's fine.
It is hard-earned money.
