PC gaming is a considered hobby. It’s not a luxury activity. A luxury activity is skydiving etc.
if you build it yourself then you save a packet -as anyone that has knows.
As I said, my latest newest build -13th Gen i5, RTX40, MSI Tomahawk MAG WiFi, Corsair vengeance DDR5 Matched 4800 etc. cost approx the same as my win7 ASUS Maximus V Genie, EVGA GTX 1060 SC 6GB, 16GB DDR3 CORSAIR, i5-3570k seasonic PSU Xonar DGX Sound card etc. that is still going after 17 years.
Besides, we don’t smoke and I’m not a heavy drinker, own everything inc our car, and only rent our house.
Don’t do Uber, just eat , McDonald’s, KFC, Costa or any other shit. Cook our own meals.
I got in when everything was just going stupid and I knew it. The graphics card was the most expensive and not what I wanted but, it’s still more than capable of playing everything at 1440 or 1080 and that’s all I want |

I'm still running a Ryzen 7 machine, and switched to Windows 10 a few months ago.
Even thought the Windows 7 games experience is better, DX12 (Windows 10) games are full of graphic NOISE and seems to be intended only to force you to buy a new (expensive) card.
Skyrim is still the best ever game, Painkiller original is more enjoyable than the new version, who cares the candels detail when you are killing a monster??? |
