G2 Games sent out a press release announcing it has secured European distribution for the upcoming title War of the Worlds: New York Armageddon (homepage). The story for the game was inspired by the H.G. Wells alien invasion classic novel written in 1898, but is retold within the context of a contempora

War of the Worlds... killed on pc. Ouch. And I'm not talking in light of Tom Cruise the guy trying to act straight when everyone knows he's gay. I'm talking, this game puts a sour view of the original movie. You think they would have put a little more money into it. Looks like something from Doom 2 era. Yikes!
