AMD, Intel, Nvidia, Apple and pretty much everyone else think you are an IDIOT. They think they can just mislead consumers by tweaking their naming schemes for their hardware (Remember the RTX 4080 12GB?) and making them more confusing. How bad has it become? We're gonna tell you.

Funk I’m out the loop with this gen now. They pick up B17-2:The Mighty Eighth redux and weren’t even born or were in nappies when it came out and I was talking to the devs through its development. 33 years is a long time being building and gaming on PC. Steam et al is full of fresh meat, same for HW and of course devs. Pretty much none of them have a clue of what we went through in PCs prime years and devs chatting daily on forums. None of shit discord, social media and no email, phone anymore
