That's kind of a stupid question because it depends on the resolution you want to render effectively.

I am almost never able to reproduce their results. For instance, Hogwarts legacy, I've played a bit of it on 1070ti (8GB) 1060 6gb, 5700XT 8gb and I've never ran into textures not loading at the full resolution. They have it all the time on ultra (I was doing ultra too). The only thing I notice in general that on AMD, which I am using now, I have to set texture quality in drivers to high to match the "standard" from nVidia. Very noticeable in diablo 4 and 3. Not as much in Forza horizon. Just an example. Can't wait for 4070Ti to arrive. I even have to keep refresh rate on 120hz on AMD because on 144Hz the card ramps up the memory speeds to a max all the time and heats up the PC, wastes extra 50W etc, all this on idle. Didn't have that issue with nVidia.

AMD is due to go tits up anyway,
