yeah, well..back in the days they said the same thing about rock and roll and hippie stuff..

But, I do agree with him a little..

On the other hand..most of the complaints and FUD about gaming is coming from america, which is a country driven by fear and lack of understanding..So while he and a few others might want to break down barriers and fight the powers that be, good luck..better move to europe, where people are allowed to think for themselves..

This is so hilarious. Did you know Jack Thompson recently published his Book about his crusades? What a careerchaser, slash(no pun intended), moneywhore. Are there not ESRB notices on the videogame boxes? If San Andreas Passed as 17, then it's ESRB that should be sued. All the loudest ones involved in this idiotism are no name politicians who intend to build up their career in the easiest way, thinking about noone else but themselves along the way. Nothing new.

Imagine this ironic outcome:

It doesn't matter what restriction you put on games unless the charge falls on the parents. And even if the fine fell on the parents, you think they'd open their mouth? there is no way to enforce something that can't be enforced within the home. Parents do what parents do. I don't mind that Rockstar makes games like GTA or Manhunt. It depends on the person. I personally don't care if I see boobies or not on my screen because they're not in my hands. Big difference! But I can live with it in games. Sex? Pfff. Come on! Even this loser who's coming down on games and ratings etc and trashing Rockstar. I bet he has a daughter and she's a slut and she probably didn't even play a game to get that way. Warren Spector? Let's see, why is he opening his mouth? Oh ya that right, game coming and his previous game a catastrophe. Ya who cares about Warren Spector right? So what does he really have to lose, his reputation is shaken and now he's making headlines acting like some god like figure who knows everything about gaming! Whatever. Warren, go back home and go hide back in that closet. You know so much about games that why you talk the talk with Deus Ex 2 and it flopped. You ran away shortly after. Well you lost that company lots of money cuz your game went nowhere and you did your community a lot of even greater service by abandoning them.
