The trailer, as posted on YouTube, looks like the movie won't be a direct adaptation of any of the games in the series, but it will bring together characters from the games in an all-new story. I like Cate Blanchett a lot, but I do not think this is a role she should have taken. I think it's a bad fit. She's measured and cool, all right, but the age and the nose are distracting. Lilith was young and has a super-cute nose.
The Tiny Tina actor sounds like a squeaky toy and not like the annoying little bitch she should be - the character is completely missing from it - her voice actor in the games is so much better. IMHO, they should dub over the actor's voice with the voice actor's voice. I think it's a bad fit. |
