You know, Intel might have survived if they could have clocked all the 14th gen CPUs above 6Ghz - 6 for the basic and 7 for the high-end CPUs - simply because games don't need ewaste cores. 8 proper cores at high clock speeds could have blown AMD out of the water. But no. They had to stay on 7nm with excessive power and heat for a decade.
I wonder how the Apple and Qualcomm x86 CPUs will perform on 2nm. |
