That’s how business models work.
If you’ve taken on more subscribers, you increase the price. Once you reach your critical mass and number start to drop then you decrease it slightly.
Humans are mugs!
£2 extra for the ‘must have’ 4K version, yet it’s free on Amazon prime video for the standard package, we watch films not churned out recycled shit The Crown ffs!
I don’t give a shit about who or what as long as it’s value for money. The day Netflix comes along with this, we’ll think about moving for the price they charge.
“subscribers get access to Amazon Music, which includes over 2 million ad-free songs, as well as access to a rotating selection of eBooks and magazines with Prime Reading and a free Kindle book from the Editors' six picks each month with Amazon First Reads. Oh, and Prime Members also get unlimited photo storage and try before you buy with Prime Wardrobe.”
“ Prime membership costs £8.99 per month if you go for a monthly subscription.
However, you can also opt for an annual subscription costing £95 per year, which works out roughly at £7.92 per month (that's a saving of over £1 each month - it all adds up!)
If you are sure you only want to use Amazon's video service, there is a separate membership just for Amazon Prime Video that costs £5.99 per month. However, that subscription does not include any of the other services.
Students can get Prime for half the price at £4.49 per month, and for a limited time only, students can trial it out for six months, totally free.”. That’s value for money!
Petrol prices are a 30 year high but people still buy new cars and pay it. Traffic hasn’t even declined!
Graphics turds are horrendous, because people pay for them to be kept at those prices. Don’t buy them, they come down. Basic business. But people are happy to throw over a grand on a 4090 Ti-tilation.
Games? Far too expensive, binned until they drop in price from like £60 to £17-15 no skin of my nose.
Here the latest Spider-Man:
“ Spider-Man 2, one of the biggest games of the year, is out on PlayStation 5 this week.
Reviews have praised the action-adventure's open world and technical leaps over its PS4 prequel.
The PS5 exclusive, priced at £69.99 in the UK, has also reignited a debate about game-length, with its main story mission estimated at about 15 hours.
But creative director Bryan Intihar tells BBC Newsbeat: "I feel confident in saying that it's worth it."

People just cannot except going backwards. They must maintain what they have been kept in and keep, paying and paying. They moan about not watching TV yet sit watching Netflix on a mobile bloody device. It’s cringing.
Mobile phone contracts on the latest upgrade £50-70 per month *each*.
Yet they end up buying 2 phones with the cost at the end.
Can’t save up for anything, got to have it yesterday generation. Best thing is they own NOTHING… How stupid is that, it’s all contracts and leases. |
