Anyone dumb enough to even consider using the Windows Store deserves what's coming to them.
That is, greedy, corporate control over your apps - the malware poison spreading across all stores - Apple, Google, Microsoft - is going to be the least of your worries.
On a not-so-related note, I had a chance to try Windows 11.
I was like - wow.
Back to Windows 3.1.
Zero customization of the taskbar, the most essential part to effective working.
Taskbar can't be moved, it can't be resized, quick launch is completely gone.
Tasks are always grouped so you need to click multiple times trying to guess which might be the window that you actually want.
What a retarded design!
Win95 had these basic requirements already for eff's sake.
Windows went out the door. Pun intended.
It felt like one of those public shared PC that is locked down so people can't do anything except start a browser.
The taskbar a stupid black bar, taking up a lot of screen space, nothing more.
You lost me right there.
Sticking to Windows 10.
Thanks. |
