building a PC for a friend right now. i5 13600k and RX 7800 XT ASUS TUF O16G (GPU only for 600€). Best priced mid-ranged GPU atm (€/fps).

The only problem is to get these cards in EU. They are selling out as hot cakes as the majority of AMD cards is dedicated to NA. No chance to get a 6800 XT chip from a good OEM here.

Since I got my first PC, there was an exception with the GPU only twice. At the very beginning, a 3dfx Voodoo 2 card, and later in 2007 a Radeon HD 3870. All the other builds always had an nVidia chip in them. I start to feel like this is going to change with my next build and I'll replace my 3080Ti with an RX 8800 XT or 9800 XT.

I hope it goes well.

All i read about with AMD is -it's fast no doubt- but be prepared for stutters, be it micro etc. But they stutter and it's the biggest complaint on forums on steam
