You feel old? I remember my first computer, which i played Master of Orion 2 and Colonization in Dos Mode.
My PC at the time was:
486 DX/2 66Mhz when i got that, it felt so fast. lol
Those two games, as well as Tie Fighter were the games i played when i was 9-10 years old.....it was so fun |

When i got Win98 (from having Win95/Win 3.11) we just got upgraded to the very first Pentium. It was going to be the P75 but we got the P90 at the last shout and then along came Win98 and I played Jane’s F-15,Longbow2, USAF, Mig Alley amongst many others. I absolutely loved Win98 for gaming. I had gone onto the first 3DFX cards - Matrox Mystique, Diamond Monster 3D, (pass thru) Voodoo 2 and EF2000 in 3DFX along with the worlds first 3DFX patches for Tomb Raider, Scorched Planet,Carmageddon. Mechwarriors 2 and Destruction Derby 2 ‘enhanced’, came with my Matrox Mystique.
Yeah Win98 was the OS that born 3D gaming. Moving onto WinXP GeForce 3 and 4 TI 4600 loved it!! (4 came with TES Morrowind, the rain effects in Balmoral…. Man, I just used to sit and watch the splashes on the water) |
