Activision is throwing down the ban hammer with authority. The official Call of Duty account has announced that, in the space of just one week, Activision banned 90,000 accounts across the series. Presumably this applies to Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard at least.

The turn off is the bannings.
When they have mass bannings like this a lot of innocent people also get banned just coz they did 1 thing that made them look bad, sometimes by accident. EG: I was playing gambit in Destiny 2 when I got banned for 12 hours as the game errored, I forget the name of the error, wombat or some some crap. Nothing to do with me, the game errored and I got banned. I am totally innocent in that.
So when they mass ban it turns people off getting that game. THATS also why I like singpleplayer, OFFLINE games. Cant get banned, can always enjoy even in 10 years when the servers are all gone you can still enjoy it.
BTW, Thats why I've only played 1 game of Apex Legends. After my 1 game they banned 1 million players and this is in the first week of the game coming out on console.
Never played or endorsed it since. If they are going to be that rude then they can keep their crappy game. I didn't like it anyway.
I dont think or care if they banned me I never play it anyway.
1 less player. But think about it, 1 less me, but I speak to people and they speak to people and people read these posts, that ends up to thousands of missing possible players.
Its the devs choice, they ban people, people dont come to play their games, they are the ones losing money as us gamers just go elsewhere to spend our money.
