Meaning, they have nothing but old tech.
I said it once and I'll say it again: there was a time when Intel used to mean performance. Seriously, no one would even consider any other brand.
Now they work with E-cores, thick fabrication process and low clock frequencies that ultimately kills the need for their chips.
They could be at 3nm or less at 8GHz by now.
But no.
They had to stop innovation because AMD had issues.
In a desperate attempt to lower power consumption and heat emission they adding crappy E-cores.
Well, guess what. AMD beat you there. Now it's their time to shine.
You have a lousy 10% over AMD? Pfft. Not a real benefit when your CPUs cost a lot more.
Plus, with AMD, you save a LOT on the electricity bills.
Coming to think of it, you will also need smaller UPSs meaning you are saving the environment to some extent. |
