Seems the guy stealing it is trying to make a point instead of trying to make money.
At least, that's what the price point and the article suggests.
AMD should confirm their mistake, apologize and ask the hacker to destroy what he had stolen.
This "we don't negotiate with criminals" attitude does not work in cyberspace.
