Ain't that the truth.
So instead of fighting it, make it legit and let cheaters cheat against each other. (Detect cheating, flag player and exclude cheaters from legit games.)
Done, everyone's happy.
BTW, the less online shit these studios would produce, the less cheating would be a problem.
