SpeedTreeRT, ent foliage solution, has been integrated with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3. (thanks

erWare integration is coming soon, as well as a Maya-based world builder.

Yeah, me too. The first game that left me in awe with my chin on the ground was FarCry. This was almost a real world, nothing was even near at the time. Games really become better! No degradation, if you ask me.

I'm not sure games really become better.. but.. uhm.. they will surely have nicer trees in the future... yeah

Better graphics-->more realistic worlds-->deeper immersion-->better games
And then if you mention gameplay, it is better and better in the long perspective. Games become less linear. Those that are linear give more things to gaze at. I see only improvements and I will never believe that the game industry (PC or console) will ever die.
