Coincidentally on the same day that someone is trying to release one they've made themselves as Sony had been utterly silent on the matter for years.

Why now when there's been demand for one for so long?

Conniving shits.

Possibly, because it looks like that there's no authorisation-required on remote-play if you have IP connectivity? (Twisted's forum post said that there was no PSN password required to use his client, those forums are in maintenance mode at the moment)
