According to one of Oxide's developer, NVIDIA was pressuring Oxide to remove certain settings in its benchmark. Oxide refused to do so, which basically led to NVIDIA's statement regarding Ashes of the Singularity.

why would nVidia dispute anything in this god-awful benchmark? They said something in the line of "this benchmark may not show the real dx12 performance on nVidia cards" and that's it.
All that oxide has shown us is that they have made a terrible engine and they basically have AMD @ DX12 performing like similarly priced nVidia @DX11. That alone makes no sense and goes to show Oxide's codding skills. They should have listened to nVidia.
Oh and they showed us that the game is going to be awful. |
